Small text generator FAQ
Why are some letters missing from small caps or subscript?
Unicode never created small capital versions of Q, S and X, and subscript letters only exist for a, e, h, i, j, k, l, m, n, o, p, r, s, t, u, v and x. Those specific letters are left as regular lower case rather than faked with a lookalike from another script.
Is superscript text the same as a footnote?
It looks similar, raised and smaller, but it is a different set of Unicode characters and carries no footnote meaning or link. It is decorative here, not a real footnote reference.
Will small text still be readable to visitors with low vision?
It is genuinely small and cannot be resized by the browser's zoom the way real text can in some cases, so avoid it for anything important like a phone number or an instruction.
